HyperLaw are pleased to announce they will be sponsoring the Telford Tigers Ice Hockey Club during the 2017-18 season. The Telford Tigers are an Ice Hockey Club with two teams playing in the National Ice Hockey Leagues (NIHL) 1 & 2 respectively. The club currently plays all its home games at the Telford Ice Rink in Shropshire, where the club enjoys a loyal fan base drawn from across Shropshire, Mid Wales, the West Midlands and beyond.
Ice Hockey is a sport HyperLaw know very well, given two of their employees Ben Washburn and Callum Bowley feature within their division 2 team. The sponsorship agreement will see HyperLaw become a club sponsor of the Telford Tigers Ice Hockey Club and a main partner in driving awareness of Ice Hockey in Telford.
HyperLaw Managing Director, Mike Washburn, commented on the decision to sponsor the Telford Tigers Ice Hockey Club for the 2017-18 season:
“HyperLaw are a young progressive company who uniquely have 2 members of staff who play Ice Hockey for the Telford Tigers. We are keen to support the future development of Ice Hockey in Telford and it was a straightforward decision to become one of the team sponsors for the forthcoming season. Unlike many other sports in the United Kingdom, Ice Hockey does not enjoy access to readily available grants or funding and it is a pleasure to be able to help them out, and to be a part of their growth and development as well.
It does of course, also provide us with something really different for our other staff and clients alike more of whom we are hoping to see at our games in the future.”
